◢ Sebrek Drabble: Told You
“You know what you did was dangerous,” Derek said from the armchair he was sitting in as he watched Sebastian fume in front of him.
Sebastian stopped his pacing and glared at him, gritting his teeth.
“Funny, I could’ve sworn that I wanted to do something nice for that pain in the ass, but thank you for reminding me of something that was intentional,” He snapped, turning his back on him and throwing his blazer on the ground.
Derek rolled his eyes, leaning his head against his hand, “You could’ve gone to jail if that Hispanic chick went through with it. Just admit that they had your ass right where they wanted it and move on—”
Sebastian whirled around, pointing at Derek accusingly, “Do not patronize me, Derek. I’m not going to admit to anything except for the fact that that slushie wasn’t meant for—”
Derek stood up, pushing Sebastian against the wall to narrow his eyes at him.
“Now you listen to me—”
Sebastian attempted to shrug him off, “Get off of me, Der—”
Slamming him again with more force, Derek pushed his arm against Sebastian’s collarbone, nearing his face to his.
“Shut up and listen to me. What you need to do is calm down,” he said lowly under his breath, waiting until Sebastian caught his and toned down his glare to a simple look of scorn. Shifting his eyes to check his expression, Derek backed away a few centimeters, but still was close enough to push him again if need be.
Sebastian’s annoyance didn’t go away, “If you’re so against it, why did you give me the slushie, then, Derek?”
Derek laughed incredulously, shaking his head, “Well if I would’ve known that you were gonna put that shit Houston carries around all the time in it, I would’ve never went through with it. Did you seriously want him to lose his eye?”
Sebastian combed his fingers through his hair, turning around and putting his head against the wall.
“I don’t know what I wanted. I just wanted him gone.”
When the other stayed silent for a minute, Derek let out a heavy sigh, rubbing Sebastian’s shoulders soothingly before kissing his neck. Resting his head there, he exhaled and wrapped his arms around his stomach, sliding his hand underneath Sebastian’s shirt and rubbing his chest. He felt the other relax against his hand and kissed his ear affectionately.
“You like competition, right?” Derek asked, nuzzling his nose to Sebastian’s cheek.
Sebastian nodded meekly, his eyes still squeezed shut in frustration.
Derek let out a small smile, taking a deep breath and kissing his cheek, “Then you should know as well as I do, that when you resort to something like this… You know you’ve already lost, haven’t you?”
Sebastian clenched his hands into fists until he let them drop to his sides. Turning his head to the side to give the other end of the room a defeated glare.
“I hate you, you know.”
Derek chuckled, continuing to move his hand across Sebastian’s chest.
“No. You’re just bored because there’s nobody to fight when it comes to me,” he said quietly, pulling him close to his chest.
“I’m already yours.”
